Whitetail Hunting Trips

August 8 2010 11:11am Lake County Illinois SW 17-25mph. 74 degrees Haze. Barometer 29.93 Falling, Waning Crescent 3% of the Moon is Illuminated. 80% Chance of Precipitation. Big Non Typical Whitetail Deer Bedding. I’m sitting in front of my computer editing some footage of some big whitetail bucks and my buddy Brian Smith the owner of www.Smith-Printing.Com calls me. "Trent get over here NOW, there’s some big bucks out back" So I grab my gear and rush over to his house. On the way he informs me it’s the non typical that was feeding in his yard on a regular basis last year. I was able to stalk to within 15 yards of him. I could have got even closer with the wind blowing but I wanted to get some good footage so I stopped there and told him to stand up. Down the field a few hundred yards I spotted a nice tall racked nine pointer. Another regular I was able to stalk to within 100 yards of him. I filmed him for a few minutes until he bed down and then stalked up to within about 30 yards of him. He must NOT have liked the way I talked to him because when I told him to stand up he didn’t stick around to give me a nice picture. The nerve of some deer! …………………….. Captured ONLY on http
