BHC WHITETAIL HUNT’N- neck shot, half spike

got david taking a solid neck shot on a 3 point he took back on Christmas day. he went out for a quick evening hunt and took this half spike. shot it in the neck with a .270 40/50 yards out around 1705(5:05pm). ya’ll take a look and see how it unfolded. went a lil long on the video, but its all good stuff here, worth every minute!!! thanks for watch’n!!!

we’re about dead even on getting bag shots on film, i took a lead new years wknd though. lol!! we where adding up trigger pulls that monday. seeing how many shots we took over the year. he’s out there right now sitting in a stand? while i;m sitting in seattle….lol!! thanks for watchn Richard!!

we only get to buck tags for this county, one large one(13 or greater inside) and a spike/half spike. they do this to help weed out the cull bucks. spikes normally dont do anything but stay a spike year after year and mess up the gene pool for whitetail when the? get a chance to breed. or thats what some studies have shown. its really just a management deal. thanks for watchn!

its very legal. what you said. if you dont take them out, four years from now. all you have is just what you shot that day. three point spikes. spikes were not shot here back in the fiftys. had to hold a key ring to be legal. took years to overcome that. and do i? hear a hog hunt soon?
